Fr. Ernest Kouacou, Ivory Coast

Fr. Ernest Kouacou is a professor, communicator, teacher, journalist and filmmaker. He is a graduate in Communication from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. He also pursued his Journalism studies in Missouri, United States, and has specialized in cinematographic writing, and collaborated with several production houses. He worked as the Director of the Catholic Radio in the Ivory Coast. He is currently director of communications for the French-speaking West African Bishops' Conference and teaches at the Catholic University. He also founded the online television channel angelustv.com. He was one of the members of the Ecumenical Jury of the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, making him the only African member of the jury.
