Chile – Chilean short films awarded at the Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival

(ANS – Santiago) – Three short films made by students of Chilean Salesian schools have been selected among the 10 best works of the America South Cone Region as part of the 2023 edition of the "Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival", the film festival of Salesian youth from around the world. Manicoré, Brazil - October 2023 - In the Week of Youth, the Salesian Youth Centre in Manicoré, belonging to the Salesian Province of Brazil-Manaus (BMA), screened the short films awarded at the Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival (DBGYFF) on 26 October. Colombia – 10th Festival of Talents at 'City of Don Bosco': where dreams come true!

Medellín, Colombia - October 2023 - The Festival of Talents, which takes place every year at the City of Don Bosco (Ciudad Don Bosco) Salesian house in Medellín, celebrated its 10th anniversary in the best possible way. The Festival began with a tribute to its founder, Fr. Fabio Díaz Vergara, who initiated the festival in 2013, when he was the Rector of the house. Três Lagoas, Brazil - October 2023 - The Salesian Institute "Don Bosco" of Três Lagoas (MS), dedicated the afternoon of 20 October to the screening of three finalist short films of the "Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival" (DBGYFF). The event was organised by the school's Pastoral Care Coordinator, Pedro Nei, and brought together the young representatives of the Lectors, Altar Servers and Everyone for Don Bosco (Todos por Dom Bosco) group and the school's Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) group.
