Rob DeFrancesco is currently the Executive Director of the Catholic Media Association, prior to which he also served as the Director of Communications for the Diocese of Phoenix, where he has managed the Diocese’s internal and external communications strategies. With over 17 years of experience, he connects with diverse audiences through various media, including web, social media, television, radio, and print. Rob has served as the Diocese's spokesperson, offering media relations counsel to staff, churches, schools, and partner agencies. Formerly the Associate Publisher of The Catholic Sun, Rob has also served as president of the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada and as a consultant to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Communications Committee. He continues to contribute to the Catholic Press Association as the Western Region Representative and as a member of various committees.
